I had a precancerous patch of skin removed from my forehead a few years back and there is a small part of my hairline and scalp that I can't really feel anymore. I wonder if people who have had that much surgery, and all over the face, can feel their faces at all. You know there's nerve involvement with that much facial cutting.
Why is this not considered self-mutilation? Because they're not personally holding the knife? It's difficult to juggle the revulsion at the non-human appearance and compassion for what must have motivated them to want to do that to themselves.
OK enough serious talk, back to being affectionate about celebrity flaws! David Letterman, I forbid you from getting your gap closed.
