Maybe, but going barefoot would do the same thing for you.

heck, I even slip out of my flats for most of the work day.

It's all about how they make the ass look, that's the point of high heels!

    Oh....

I told you I'm clueless with stuff like that...I just think they are sweet and cute. Damn, I need to look at my ass again before and after heels and analyze it...

This is pretty much my view as well:

If the goal was increased height and grace then falling over defeats the purpose.
I think my ability to wear heels depends on whether or not I can wear socks with them. If I can wear socks I'm usually comfortable to wear them for hours (like with boots or work pants etc.). Yet, when I'm wearing dresses/skirts without hose or socks my feet really suffer. I don't know how many countless times those things have torn holes in the back of my ankles or other parts of my foot.

On the plus side, in addition to all the reasons other posters have given, I like heels simply b/c I feel "powerful" and more "put-together" in them. They make that clicking sound that tells others that someone is coming...kinda draws attention to you in a way.

Admitting that one likes high heels would be like publically annoucing one has got a foot fetish, wouldnt it ?

^^^ Yeah, heels make me feel like a woman just the way maybe a tie makes a man feel masculine???

It also oddly enough gives me the sense of strength....Peculiar....
