Default Were You a Class Clown?

As I grew older, whatever motivated me to goof around made me simply challenge -- within reason -- teachers and professors.

Edit: I had a poll. Operative word "had." One moment, please...here it is.

No, I tended to pass pretty unnoticed (some teachers could hardly recall my name). Except sometimes I was in a really very good mood and could totally derail a class, destroying all that so carefully built invisibility.
But these cases were the exception, usually I was really quiet

I wasn't the class clown, but I played the part often enough. I could be pretty disruptive, at times. When I wasn't, I was usually sitting in the back, talking.

The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

Nope, my sense of humour never really kicked into gear until I discovered depression (around 18), ironically enough. I guess I lost a lot of inhibitions. During class I was largely silent in the ones I disliked and earnestly, vocally opinionated in the ones I liked.

It should be noted that I went to an all-male school, where the class clown was whoever could fart the loudest. It always got a huge laugh, with a subsequent ripple of delighted disgust as the smell spread.

yeah for a while. I was really stupid back then too. I had dyslexia and I couldn't write straight. So I messed around alot, thinking I was stupid so whats the point. But eventually, I realized I just had bad spelling and everyone else was pretty thick.

I think being a class clown requires being funny intentionally.

I was THE class clown, I even got an award for it, I can barely remember a time in school where I wasn't goofing around.

I was the disruptive member of the class, having done my work faster than the rest I could then turn on my audience and dazzle them with my wit lol

I can still be the clown, but only in certain situations, whereas when I was in school it was all the time.

Once in awhile I'm the silliest, but usually I'm the comic foil.
