I was simply listing my boyfriends personality traits because people asked me to list them (so they could objectively ascertain his type apart from my assumption that he's ISFJ, long story). I didn't insult anyone. My post was positive. I listed stuff he does/behaviors/stuff he likes, etc. NO big deal.

And then all of a sudden this girl responds to EACH thing I said, line by line, with a wrong assumption about what I meant and then an insult to me. I was called stupid, dumb, pathetic, told to "grow up" twice, etc. I am still reeling. I DON'T GET IT. What did I do? I have not experienced such a senseless attack... EVER.

    I almost teared up.

In socionics, ESFps and ISFps are "extinguishment" relations; this means they basically take the light out of each other's fires. But I have never had a run-in with any ESFP. EVER. Neither have they ever tried to make me feel bad like this girl did, that I know of.

    WHAT THE HELL?

Sorry to just rant, but I don't get it. I was belittled so repeatedly and so cruelly.

UGH. I truly feel depressed over this.
awww, you got trolled... what a bitch...

MBTi is a scam created by Mrs Briggs and her daughter Mrs Myers.

Yes, MBTI is very popular throughout the world just as Astrology is very popular.

And MBTI and Astrology both have exactly the same truth value, that is, none.

And just as no astronomer believes in Astrology, no psychologist trained in personality testing believes in MBTI.

And as MBTI is an invalid and unreliable personality test, it is best understood as a cult.

And as in any cult, you believe in MBTI without any evidence.

And it is important to remember that being popular does not make MBTI true.

Ignore her. That's the best thing to do. You shouldn't take someone like THAT seriously. I hope the others didn't either.
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

If you don't agree about my MBTI type, you can complain about it here. I've had plenty of people telling me I'm something else, in my reputation box. That's annoying.

    Kick. Her. Ass.

Seriously. Or I'll do it for you. Where can I find her?

Strictly speaking it is neither a trull nor a flame, as the poster has taken the time to attempt to deconstruct your post.

At least take that as a compliment of sorts.

Edit: My guess is she's toying with you.

LOVE this Victor. I have been thinking as much lately - any real scrutiny seems to defeat the original high level resonance MBTI appears to possess.

And to maliafee: Just ignore the meanies!
