Oh, I must add that there are types I do judge quickly.

    - Fat people wearing skimpy clothes 4 sizes too small.
    - People wearing dirty old rags.

Probably some more images, but typically, these sort of extremes I do tend to judge rather fast. Most likely to prevent me from bothering further with them.

But anyone that presents themselves within acceptable parameters, will not be judged quickly by yours truly.

Factoid: if people like you, they will in communication tend look at your eyes, nose and mouth; if they dislike you, they'll be checking out your forehead.

But back when they first met you, if they thought you might have been a "prospect", they'll have given you a full body scan, a quick down and up, and the down will have gone right down to the shoes.

And you say you're checking out everyone's shoes?!

    That's... welcoming.

^It's not the only thing I check out, just one of the first things. :P

I wanna make sure they're going to be able to walk the two miles back to my house where I can sit down and look them in the eye.

I am doing good if I notice if things around me are animal, vegatable or mineral.

I do not judge others. I worry about myself, not others.

I take in the whole person and the vibe they give off.

I have heard people say they judge people based upon shoes or manicure or what have you, and to that I say that I will judge you as an idiot as soon as you say that. No offense to the OPs friend.

I usually judge on people's words about them, but that worked as a...category of some sort. A standardization, if you might. That only works on FOAF, though.

If I don't have previous information, I usually tend to judge based on one's usage of words, tone, sentences, attitudes... then by the content.

Appearances also works as a standardization of some sort, usually in a form of stereotype, most of which are derived from pop cultures but their values are twisted according to my own criteria. It might seems bad but I've usually went towards, "So, does this person acts / talks well enough to exclude from the stereotype?"

there's usually a fair few reasons for why I like someone or dislike them

in other words, I'm not quick to judge.
