    Default Stuck in my Room

You know what sucks? When you come down with flu symptoms on a Sunday, and are considered a suspect case of H1N1 influenza. Cause that's what happened to me. I'm stuck in my room until further notice..

Yeah, but there's an old saying...

What do you call an INFP who stays in their room all the time? An INFP.

Sorry. At least they're no longer shutting whole schools down.

If you act really sick and maybe they'll transfer you to a cozy hospital bed with all the Jello you can eat.

But look at it this way: If it comes back around next flu season, at least you will have some protection

The professor I work with is in Shanghai this week giving some seminars. I have to wonder how many people are giving him a wide berth in the streets.

Yeah, but before when I stayed in my room all the time, I was doing so of my own free will. Being forced to do something that, granted, I'd probably be doing anyway, still makes me antsy. Plus, I can't even go to get stuff to eat, I have to have others bring it to me, and I hate that cause I'm pretty independent most of the time. I always feel like I'm nagging people when I ask them to get me something to eat.

At this point, I hope it was H1N1, just so the 3 days of isolation are justified

Yikes! Hang in there. I hope it's not H1N1.

I hope you get better soon.

Over here in Mexico City they pretty much confined everyone to our homes for a while.
Thankfully, I nobody I know has caught influenza, and now universities are open again, but now I have a lot of schoolwork piled up.

I was halfway joking last night, because humor is usually how I deal with situations like this, but I have been confirmed as a 'probable' case as of today. So.. yeah. Kinda stinks, but life goes on. I've already been through the worst of the symptoms, so it's basically just waiting out the treatment period.
