I've met other people who supposedly have tested as ENFP but I don't relate to them any better or think that we are 'the same' more or less similar than the way I feel about other people who are not ENFPs. If that makes sense. So no, I don't necessarily hit it off in a better way with other ENFPs than I do with other types.

I thought I met a girl who was ENFP and thought she was cool and we really hit it off and get along well together, but turns out she tested as ENTP. Still might be ENFP though, you never know with online test taking. And I have also tested as ENTP/INTP before on the tests so we really do have stuff in common! LOL.

I know that other self-tested ENFPs have told me they appreciate spending time with me because of the conversations we can have.

Anecdote - after this woman I was dating dumped me, she started dating this other woman. And when I saw the other woman's [social networking website] profile and I was like - this girl is like, me! Her personal style, the things she is into, her views on life, etc. I wouldn't be surprised at all if that girl were also an ENFP. It was kinda flattering and kinda not at the same time. Hahahahaha.

I think ENFJ is the most socially advantageous type. I try to act more ENFJ in professional situations and so on, when I want to project a really caring image.

I like other INFJs, but can only feel a sense of commonality or connection to maybe a third of the ones I've met. I like aspects of all the personality types, but some I prefer to enjoy from a distance and others I'm more apt to invite into my life.

Dunno that many ENFPs irl, but on here I've noticed that getting a bunch of ENFPs together always equals fun, so yeah, I do like our type. It's nice to be around people who do not think you're that weird or quirky or roll their eyes at you, as...welll, they're just as bad

I "like" all of the other ENFJs at least a little bit. Honestly, I only find a few of the ENFJs though that are people I would actually want to spend any length of time with. In real life the only ENFJ I got to know well was kind of snobby with a princess like demeanor. It made me worry that I may come off the same. I have an indirect relationship now with an ENFJ and she is quite a bit like me in the get-things-done-now kind of way so of course she is great . I tend to read a person of the same types posts and think of them in relation to myself. There are some that are nicer then me and I respect them. I avoid the fluffy ones or those that seem overly emotional....too much drama for my taste. I appreciate what I consider a good balance between seriousness and light-hearted joking. If the scales are going to tip I prefer serious I think.

Well, if you don't like the major characteristics of your type there is no chance you can trully like yourself.

    I like my type.
