Are you saying Victor is an ENTJ?
If you could be anything you want, I bet you'd be disappointed--am I right?

You can't call something true based on empirical evidence. Truth is an absolute, absolutes only exist in your head.

But maybe If we limit our view to the universe as a 'closed' causal system (original singularity appart), then , the only truth would be the universe as a whole, both in space and time.

To have a truth you need an item, and the only absolute item in this universe i can find is the universe itself.

    So there is no Truth?

    So there is no Truth?
maybe everything that is, every 'potential' in and out of this universe.

But then there's the issue of movement, time. 1 at time0 can be 2 at time2 because of the uncertainty principle.
That's why I said that an 'absolute' in our universe had to encompass the whole of time and space, every states that are and will be, every ripple of that wave we call existence.
So is there an absolute unite that never change in the metaverse?
Is there a 'sea' of constant volume in what we call Uncertainty are just, ripples if you will.

That I don't know. But in any case, to have truth you need a factual absolute.
Not concepts, not maths, but a 'thing' that never, ever change, in this universe and out of it.

I don't feel like reading it.

Every discussion that is about the concept of Truth is bound to have so much logical blind spots that it almost hurts my brain to discuss it.

I mean, i believe in 'correct', i believe in 'works'. Because that's all about what you want out of something, and limited systems.

But Truth is just a dumb concept to make religious people happy.
We should take that word out of the dictionary it just, doesn't, ever, apply.

Heh, a sort of aside. The most adaptive lifeform was the first, I think. It certainly has adapted into all of us. What have we adapted to?

(The point being that many many millions of years have given us a great many wrong ends, and probability says that we are too. )

It merely had adaptive potential. Not functional adaptability. In fact, it didn't even have that. The laws that allowed in to come into being store the potential.

    Wrong in what way?

What would a world without that concept look like?
