Default The sound of people eating

Really annoys me lol I mean majorly annoyed, I may even leave the room if it gets too much.

Plus what is up with the people who are chewing, and yet still reach for their drink and slurp loudly, only to then subject me to the sound of them chewing a mixture of their drink and the food?

I mean I am sure I don't sound so great eating, but I can't help the way it annoys me.

Does anyone else really dislike the sound of people chewing and slurping?

You know...someone burping doesn't bother me but the sound of them actually eating can make me nuts sometimes.

But doesn't just have to do with it being gross or whatever. I just like a calm environment when I'm eating my meal. I need to concentrate on what I'm eating :P

Yup, really does. Along with people who chew with their mouth open and sneeze and yawn without covering their mouth. Really does

Yup, the sound of chewing, especially mushy-chewing, is gross to me. (with crunchy food, the sound it makes isn't as gross)

yeah...it drives me nuts too. i'm pretty sure that all of my pet peeves have to do with odd unnecessary noises people make.

No burping doesn't bother me, is wasn't socially unacceptable to burp after a meal when I was growing up so it's never been an issue.

But the sound of eating, especially combined with slurping sends me loopy.

I tend not to split my meal with small sip breaks, I drink at the end of my food so there is no combination of slurp, chew, slurp.

    Oh yep, adding them too.

Don't want to be gender biased here or anything, but I tend to hear it more when a guy is eating, maybe the guys I know are just cavemen.

    Too late. :P

Anyways about the sneezing without covering one's mouth... that actually defeats the purpose of sneezing and is not very hygienic. When I sneeze it's always dry sneezing anyway but if a person who's sick and keeps covering his/her mouth...ewwww (*little girl's voice*). The trick is doing it down and away from other people. Or just take care of that cold.
