That's exactly why eating at my grandma's is such a nightmare. My grandma thinks it's inapropriate to listen to the radio or to watch tv. She thinks it should be quiet when people are having dinner, so they can talk. So when I have to eat at her place, you can just hear two things: people arguing and people eating. The former is just annoying. The latter just makes me sick, so I usually don't eat too much there.
I was sitting outside the classroom waiting to go in, and I saw an airplane hit the tower. The TV was obviously on. I used to fly myself and I said, "There's one terrible pilot."

yeah...was just thinking of how i've heard a few people eating while in vent and thought it was funny/ cute...so yeah maybe it has more to do with how you feel about the person who's doing it at the time.

The sound of my cat eating is acceptable.
    His crunching makes me happy.

My stepdad shoveling chips in his face, not so much.

For some reason I'd prefer watching lions tear apart a mauled zebra carcass to watching a human eat.. anything.
I wonder what that says about humanity. [or me? or.. both?]

Anyways about the sneezing without covering one's mouth... that actually defeats the purpose of sneezing and is not very hygienic. When I sneeze it's always dry sneezing anyway but if a person who's sick and keeps covering his/her mouth...ewwww (*little girl's voice*). The trick is doing it down and away from other people. Or just take care of that cold.
Actually, for best coverage, and minimal cross-contamination, it is recommended that you wrap your arms (don't use hand/palm) around your lower face (including nose), so you're literally sneezing into the inner groove of your arms' joints (inner side of elbows).

    *activates invisible wall*

And, you can't sneeze on your favourite t-shirt this way, silly, as t-shirts would only reach up to (and above) the elbows. Long-sleeved shirts?

Nevermind. I read that too fast. Sensotardiness ahoy.

Anyways! The point still stands! *pets own inner elbows*
