I usually prefer dogs. Cats usually don't pay much attention to me.

    I love that story.

Once I went to visit a friend and she was not at home yet, so I was standing on the corner waiting for her. The street was quiet with no other people around, but I kept feeling someone looking at me. I turned around and looked -- nothing. Still I felt it. I turned around again and this time looked down, and there sat a big tom cat staring straight at me with his pale green eyes. I said prrt! and gave him my hand to mark, and he relaxed immediately, rubbed his whiskers against my hand, and walked off with his tail high. I'll never forget it. "Excuse me. You're on my street."
