The pain of separation may ease with time, but I can imagine the binding never fading out. He'll always be with you.

Be kind to yourself today, Mom.

Mom, if I respected you more, I'd likely explode. Please take care of yourself.

Thanks, Udog. That means a lot.

I am trying to take care of myself. I'm having an appetite problem again.
But when I eat, it's something good for me, so that's good. I just can't eat very much.

Oh my God; I am speechless.

You have my deepest condolensces. I wish you and your children, and the rest of your family peace, strength, and hope to assist you coping with the loss of your husband, and in continuing your lives together without him present.

Regarding finances, I don't know what your exact situation is, but don't freak out, you will find a way, this whole situation is in God's hands right now. Drastic times sometimes call for drastic measures but now is a time for grieving and not for number crunching. That must wait, even if just a short bit. Tell your creditors what has happened proactively and you will be afforded greater flexibility, I guarantee it.

I can't imagine the pain you are experiencing. I am so sorry for your loss.

Please feel free to PM me to discuss anything. I'm somewhat of a miraculous problem solver in the midst of earth shattering crises. If I can give you any useful ideas or even just an ear to listen it would be an honor to do so.

God bless you and your family; please take care of yourself,

    -Alex

Thank you, Alex. I appreciate your care and concern and kind words of encouragement.

Strange how the mind works... it was 6 weeks ago today...
and it only today occurred to me that I'm not married anymore.
(very hard for an enneagram four)

The one major problem I have is finding a full-time job with benefits...
but you know how God is... "never late - seldom early".
I don't really need the job right NOW,
so I'm thinking it will be a while yet at this part-time job I have.
I have the faith that it's going to be a job that I will enjoy
and that it will provide everything I need.

PS: Thankfully, I don't have any creditors.
I was able to pay off the mortgage with my husband's life insurance money,
and we didn't have any other debt.

Hi Mom, just wanted you to know I've been thinking about you.

I just read your memorial reading.
Andy sounds like a treasure, and the jokes you referred to made me laugh out loud (especially the pregnant women "looking swell.")

I'm glad you had what time you had together, I can see so many ways in which he profoundly impacted your life for the better... and never forget that you undoubtedly impacted his.

    I'm sorry for your loss...

My father died suddenly of a heart attack when I was 19 (that was a long time ago now). I understand the pain of losing someone in this way, and my heart goes out to you and your family. I wish I could offer more, but please know that you are in my thoughts.
