    There sure are a whole lot of would-be astronauts here!

    I'm kind of surprised at the dearth of traditional professions that kids tend to gravitate to...fireman, policeman, doctor, teacher, athlete.

    I wanted to be a carpenter, then a bricklayer. It occurs to me that I might well have been more successful financially had I chosen either of those professions rather than the one I have.

    But it wouldn't be hard to be a wildlife photographer if even on an amateur basis.

    Space is a ton cooler than fires, liver problems, classrooms, or sports I guess. (For sports, just keep in mind who is likely to be on these forums.)
