    Default Punctuation and Smileys

So, I have a question.. for all of you.

When you use a smiley at the end of a sentence, do you punctuate first, then smiley? Or do you smiley, then punctuate? OR are you like me, and use a smiley as punctuation

    Just something I was wondering.

Punctuation, then smiley, or smiley, then punctuation (if that punctuation is the second half of parentheses). But never, never, never a smiley AS punctuation. That would trip out my OCD!!!

    Like this .

I do it because it clearly indicates which sentence the emotion belongs to.

I think I use the smiley first, then punctuate. But I usually try keep the smiley separate from my sentence.

It's either of the two, except the third. I have never thought of using smiley as a punctuation. Thanks for suggesting.
