    Default Google Misspellings

    I have a theory.

The theory goes that if you do a search in google, but you misspell the word, there is at least an 80% chance that it will bring up porn as the first or second option.

I also figure that this probability decreases as the number of words in your search increases, but not a direct correlation.

I charge YOU, the members of TypologyCentral with the responsibility to test this theory and report back with the results.

    ------------------------

    How this experiment will work:
    • Step 1 - bring up google
    • Step 2 - spell a word wrong
    • Step 3 - press enter
    • Step 4 - check results
    • Step 5 - resist compulsion to watch it
    • Step 6 - do steps 1 - 5 again if you want, and calculate the average
    • Step 7/8 - if your average for misspellings bringing up porn is greater than or equal to 80%, enter YES into the poll; if it is not, enter NO

If the average here is greater than 80%, we will have our local conclusion.

I'm about to prove you wrong AGAIN!

Actually, I'm probably too lazy to do that.

Glad to see we all voted the same way...

It does require a lot of work.
    And likely, document forgery.

No wonder you're not up to the task.
