    Dear member,

Good lookin' sword. Definitely a wall-hanger piece. I got a couple of those in my collection from when I first got started. They make for good costume pieces (have a Zorro sword like that with no edge) or decoration. Only suggestion I make to you is be careful if you decide to play around with it. You can break the blade off near the hilt if you hit it too hard against something (speaking from experience )

Here's another good site with some affordable ones.

Yeah, I mainly use it for decoration when I attend Renaissance Festivals. Peace-tying is required, so I never get it out. But if I ever do, I'll make sure not to try to actually fight wth it.

I ordered some things from Museum Replicas once and was very disappointed... the thing was backordered and no one told me, and I had to call them like 3 times before they sent it. Maybe that's unusual though, I don't know.

    Dear Member,
You could look at these examples of 18th century reproductions, which are used by reenactors:
    Naval Cutlass - Indian Import
    Naval Cutlass, 1775-1790
    British Hanger Model of 1742
British Officer Sword with Brass Hardware

Wow. Our Rennfest doesn't allow any costume weapons. I mean, you can't even bring a blunt wooden sword in, let alone a metal one.

Your dress/sword look awesome though. Making me all excited for when rennfest opens.

I'm supposed to preface this with Dear Member or something, right?

    Dear member,
Is this more what you had in mind?

As you can see, they have less restrictions on weapons.
