Um...yes I am. If you sneak up on me, If I know it's coming, no.

For the first minute or three, I have been known to throw people off me because of the muscle spasms. At about minute five I stop being ticklish.

Are these people that tickle you without your permission blind? I've seen your pic and I imagine that they must end up at least quadriplegic.

No, not blind. I guess they view me like people fascinated with riding the mechanical bull you find in some bars. Good fun as long as you can avoid whiplash and broken bones.

Not that I try to hurt them, but involuntary movements are involuntary.

I have also been known to take swings at people who wake me from a deep sleep.

Yeah, I'm very ticklish, especially on my sides, and I detest being tickled. And if you tickle me after I've told you not to, and you get punched, I will not feel very sorry for you. Tickling is not fun. Tickling is torture. :steam:

Edit: I want to learn how to shut it off, BerberElla! How do you do it?

Honestly I can't quite explain it, I just told myself that it wouldn't tickle me, and it no longer did. I didn't like feeling powerless against the tickle mad uncle lol so I ordered my body to obey and for once it actually did.

It's pretty much the same thing now, I just tell my body not to respond and it doesn't.

Tried it with pain once, not as easy. Still trying.

    1) Expect it, mentally prepare your mind and your skin for the sensation. It dampens the effect.
    2) Get angry, or at least irritated. Use that to close your mind off even more from the tickling.
    3) If you enjoy it, even for a moment, you open yourself up to losing control.
    4) If you let out a laugh, get even angrier.
    5) Begin creating your sophisticated and multi-faceted revenge plot to distract yourself.
    6) This one is risky, but don't fight it so hard. I find I'm more ticklish when I resist. If I lay back, relax, and taunt their ineffective efforts, I'm more immune. (Unless they hit one of my two ticklish pressure points.)

The last one in particular is key, I think. Perhaps fighting gets the adrenaline going, which increases your sensitivity.
