Default Do you keep track of your fuel milage?

I don't care about this, how much gas I use, how much money I spend, the price of fuel or anything else yet I check it every time. I don't keep a log and honestly even though I check it every time I'm such a sensortard I don't even remember exactly what it is. I know it never changes so I always look and go "oh that's right".

I think I do it because I like numbers, couldn't remember what it was the last time and I keep expecting it to get better but technically I wouldn't notice cause I never remember what it is.

I used to.. but all I do now is notice the number of miles on my vehicle versus where the needle is on the gas gauge.. if that starts changing significantly, well, I know I have problems.

Overall, I used to be a lot more diligent about details like that, but then I realized it was a huge pain in the ass and it wasn't really helping me at all

No, but I do reset my trip odometer every fill-up so I have a rough idea of how many miles I get per tank. I drive a gas-guzzling truck, so seeing my mileage every time would just depress me. It's usually around 12 in the city, 16 on the highway...yuck.

Is that the thing that tells me how many miles I have to go until empty??

No, I love numbers too, but it usually comes out in the form of budgeting with me. I know I have to pay X amount of money every month, and that I need things as they come, but for some reason I NEVER feel safe without a constantly updated budget plan.

Yes I do, but I am a bit of a car nut. I don't keep track of it every fill-up, but it only takes a minute to calculate anyway. (Just don't go off of those in-car mpg readouts - they are crazily inaccurate...)

I think I keep trying to figure out what it gets so I can fill up when I think it's going to take exactly 10 gallons, I guess I should just remember that number now that I think about it. That's my new goal, to get the pump to shut off dead on 10.000 gallons!
