An INTP would make a good leader once he matured his feeling. The INTJ is the world's best natural born leader. Abraham Linclon was an INTP.

isn't obama an ENFP? and I'm pretty sure Bill Clinton is an ENTP. I love those guys.

INTJ also doesn't like to lead once they realize they're responsible for everything. I think they'd much rather be the guy behind the curtain.

Who says that you couldn't create a figure head (NF :P) and lead from behind the scenes? An INTJ in that situation would win. The figure head could do some fancy stuff, probably ENFP.

I'd say emotionally "trained" NT's who handle their feelings well and are also capable of showing them to gain the trust of supporters. A rare kind.

NFs make better leaders for countries, whereas NTs make the best supervillains going for world domination.

NFs aren't really the leading type. I mean they're peaceful and everything, so it'd be more of a democracy. They would have to make sure everything is okay with everybody before making a decision, and everyone would grow dumb from it.

IRL, neither. STJ's generally are the top level leaders. Having taken MBTI on a military base where they talked about common types for upper level leadership, it's almost totally about TJ's and mostly about STJ's. IIMU that that is true for historical US presidents as well. Various MBTI books discuss this, think Otto Kroeger for example.

I don't know which type I think makes better leaders, but currently there are far more NT leaders than there are NF ones.

I agree with this to a large extent. A good combination would be an NT leader with a significant representation of NFs as advisers to keep a holistic viewpoint that focuses on how an action will effect various categories of people. It would help to be the NT to make the tough call and choose the lesser of two evils, since many leadership decisions negatively effect some group of people. It would need to be an NT who respects a holistic perspective and diverse viewpoints.

NTs. Why would I want someone who bases their decisions on emotions to be my leader. They'd fund projects to "help" things even if the data was showing the project simply wouldn't work. They'd ban things for no other reason then it was "wrong."
Still NFs would probably beat the ESTJ leaders we have at the moment.
