It cannot be any different than for an INFP, I am never satistifed with how I have expressed what is in my mind. There is always far more within me than I can bring out to the page and verbal communication is far harder.

I just tried doing free association writing in my blog. Has anyone ever tried it before? I don't know much about it except from in The Sixth Sense.

Oh my. Old thread. (But an interesting one).

Maybe racism. My Northern family are openly racist (and generally quite bigoted). I often find my judgment clouded, and I'm unable to deliver a rational response.

Relationship with my family members can be a tricky one, too, and generally quite emotively charged rather than objective (if that's even possible).

-How beautiful, this pale Endymion hour.
    -What are you talking about?
-Endymion, my dear. A beautiful youth possessed by the moon.
-Well, forget about him and get to bed.
    -Yes, my dear.

Well, I think the thread title should read "What topics interfere with your RATIONALITY?" rather than "What topics interfere with your RATIONALISM?" I am rational, but I am not a rationalist. Anyway, to answer the question: to an extent, things like sex, drugs, rock n' roll, people I love. I can apply some rationality even to these, though.

When I have to argue with a sexist, a size-ist, a racist, an intellectual elitist, or some stupid asshole trying to defend the philosophy that selfishness is a virtue so he can use it as an excuse to be morally irresponsible and inconsiderate, I get pretty pissed off. They're all issues that have to do with people making defensive, supposedly "rational" excuses to treat others unfairly and elevate themselves above others. I don't have much tolerance for such attitudes, and I lose patience with such people quickly.

Why? Because I'm better than them, dammit!

I also get very angry with people who try to justify hurting others, like rapists, people who believe it's okay to abuse their spouses and children, people who think revenge is okay, etc.

I am never rational. Not at all.
