    ^What he said.

The poll choice says "I like em long and leggy". As far as I'm concerned that is not only an excuse to ogle Brooke Burns, it's a reason.

I am 5'5, so about average I guess. Were I dating I would definitely consider a man shorter than me, unless he had short man syndrome. But some of the sexiest men I've known have been little sticks of dynamite and I'm sure they would have been amazing in the sack.

Speaking of extremes, I suppose I prefer short over tall. It seems that the human body is better structured to be very short from what I've seen. But then, what I consider to be extremely tall may be different than what most people do, as I'm already kind of tall myself (6'2").

Other than that, short and tall both have their own attractive aspects, I don't really have a preference. It's like hair color or skin color preferences or something, it just seems restricting to me.

Short dudes do do it better, in my experience.

I'm 5'9" .. I'd say ultimately height doesn't matter... though I haven't been particularly attracted to any extremely short guys yet. A few have been a few inches shorter, and neither of us cared. It did look silly if they tried to put an arm over my shoulder, all casual-like.
    Cute fail.
Go for the waist, silly little dudes. :rolli:

My mom's really tiny, and my dad was quite tall, so I've got some of his height, but her small bone frame. Think Twiggy, I guess. This is probably why I don't feel like a huge beast around guys who're a bit shorter than I am.

I hate to dress up, but when I do, I wear heels. [I just prefer how they make my feet/legs look overall]
...I typically don't have complaints over this.

I'm 5'4" and have an odd fondness of guys who are right around my height

it makes certain things easier, and I don't have to stand on my toes to kiss them! (like the 6'4" jackass I dated sophomore year!)

I'm a 6ft woman and while I don't like to discrimminate against people based on their looks, dating short guys is something I avoid. Its not because I think they're unattractive or anything but it makes me uncomfortable to feel like a giant (which I do most of the time). I even seem to be taller than most men so I begin to really feel like a freak. I avoid heels as much as possible and bend my knees in group photos - anything to diminish the disparity (pun unintended ). I'm not insanely insecure about my height or anything but it can make you feel very unfeminine to be a tall woman and having a boyfriend shorter than me just emphasizes this. I would date men slightly shorter than me (say 5'10, 5'11) but beyond that I begin to feel like we both look ridiculous. I just wouldn't feel comfortable.

All this said, I have a good (male) friend who is 5'2 and a really amazing guy. Unfortunately, everyone makes not so nice comments about his height and most woman won't give him the time of day. He makes jokes about his height but I don't like to join in because I know he's just trying to deflect the insults.
