Default What sort of evil character would you be?

I was just thinking about how we all have negative traits as well as positive ones. So I was just looking over several villains, and I found that there was one with most of my darker sides fully expressed.

    Mithos, from Tales of Symphonia

A desire to control, to achieve the end of discrimination, and perhaps my fear and paranoia towards obstacles or threats coalescing into a dictatorial and hateful nature. Several things about his personality remind me of myself as well. Frighteningly so.

So, what villain from a movie, comic, video game, etc, do you think that you would be most like if your negative tenancies were magnified in that way for some reason?

    From a story: Hannibal Lecter
    From reality: Theodore Kaczynski

Just name most any super-villain in any James Bond movie; I could be them under the right circumstances.
    I 100%, N 88%, T 88%, J 75%

The assassin from Serenity... I am a monster aiding to create a world in which I am too evil to live.

I accept no responsibility, what so ever, for the fact that I exist; I do, however, accept full responsibility for what I do while I exist.

I would be a guy who invents special pacemakers and secretly places them into the bodies of everyone in the world. All pacemakers would be psychically linked to my brain, and when someone refuses to obey me, I can shut their pacemakers off, thereby leaving them with a very uncomfortable sensation in the left arm.

When that person learns to obey my commands, I will psychically turn his/her pacemaker back on. Because that person must know that s(he) belongs to me!

The real question, for me, is "what sort of good character would I be?"

Working that one out is kind of my life's mission, if you know what I mean.

Every interrogator with an evil instrument for extracting information in history, perhaps.

Or maybe... Someone like Mr. Coup from Neverwhere...or Walter from The Dark Tower...or (at my very worst) possibly Umbridge from Harry Potter.

    A villan like those.

    Serial Mom, who else?
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”
