An F. I'll just list off some of my favorite movies. (One's that I can watch more than once )

Man on Fire, Inside Man, The Matrix (I and III, something about II really sucks.), Goodfellas, The Godfather, Office Space. Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas
I'm mostly an action/comedy person, but not a big movie person in general. I have too much ADD to sit for that long.

everyone loves the movies you just mentioned. i doubt that that has anything to do with being an F or T.

i walked out of anchorman the first time i saw it, but now i've seen it dozens of times..go figure i don't know if i have favorites. i'm not good with lists.. i like a lot of old exploitation films, like kung-fu, car chase, or women in prison flicks. for the cinematography of course. female prisoner 701:scorpion is one of the coolest looking movies, not to mention has the most badass female protagonist ever. oh and i like kids movies, just to round it out. nothing like a women-in-prison /disney double feature. i like all the blockbuster stuff with a lot of adventure too (like pirates of carribean, star wars, etc). some artsy stuff is ok, especially noir (old american or otherwise).

My favourites tend to be ones that are intellectually playful, such as psychological thrillers or con movies. I'm also a fan of sci-fi and fantasy. Horror, it depends. There's an Alfred Hitchcock quote (which of course I can't find anywhere, so it could be Stephen King, I dunno) that says there are three steps in horror, which go suspense, thriller, gore. Anything that's heavy on the first two has the potential to be amazingly creepy, anything that's heavy on the latter alone is probably not worth watching.

I'm a T, in case you have no peripheral vision.

    <----

Horror's my favorite. Action & military is good, too. So are movies like the Godfather trilogy, Goodfellas, Scarface, etc.

So is sci-fi and fantasy. (Pfuch, I'm such a stereotypical NT)

I'd suppose comedy comes in 4th place, as long as it's not romantic comedy. Not such a fan of long, drawn-out "surreal" movies where nothing happens, nor am I much for romance.

However one of my ALL TIME favorite movies is a romance (Natural Born Killers), so I don't judge the whole genre.

I love Martin Scorceses' films, and The Big Lebowski is an all-time fave.

Horror, for the most part, sucks. I like 28 Days Later, and that's about it. Slasher films are even worse.

I don't think it's a T/F thing. My ENFP friend is the biggest horror buff I know. She can't get enough of the Saw series, and I'd rather watch almost anything rather than that.

I don't mind exaggerated or stylized violence, though, and Tarantino is one of my favorites. I also love those filmmakers listed earlier by Aderack. I love a director with a vision or a niche, if it's done well.
