Default what do extroverts think about when they're alone?

"if a tree falls in the forest and no one is there to hear it does it make a sound?" could also be asked...

subtle digs aside, i am curious especially if you are especially extroverted

i honestly can't imagine it would be any different. i think it's just the amount of time we're comfortable with it.

one would think... chances are we've all seen an introvert outside of their "natural environment" but nobody is around when the same happens to an extrovert. but it seems like extroverts are not naturally introspective, so ive wondered what they would default to when there's nobody else around to think about instead.

    * I wonder what everyone else is doing.
    * What's going on outside?
    * Wonder what time so and so wakes up?
    * Wonder what's going on this weekend.
    * Would it be weird to go to a movie by myself? Could I get someone else to go with me?
    * Wonder if anyone is posting at TypeC?

I can stay alone easily. But I can't do something that'd 'disconnect' me from an outside flow of information. That'd be pure torture.

lol!!! too cute! I hate when i'm all alone. That's what I think about.
The other day I was alone for like 2 hours. It went like this plus.

    "Should I call my mother?"
    (ring ring) (no answer)
"Should I call so and so?"
    (no answer)
    "What about so-and-so?"
(an answer, can't talk too long, phone call ends)
"I wonder what time Sean is coming home?"
(calls Sean. "An hour and a half cutie.")
    (Texts 3 people.)
(Checks type c, checks facebook. nothing going on.)
    (stares out the window.)
    (calls Sean, half joking)
    "I'm lonely!"
    "I'll be home soon cutie!"
    (hangs up.)
    (twiddles thumbs, stares out window.)

I'm going to be the most annoying lonely old lady when I get old.

well...you're right i guess. even when i am alone i'm usually still engaging in some way by chatting online or on the phone...or i'm reading a book or watching a movie...i'm rarely alone with my thoughts because usually when i think of something interesting or something i want to brainstorm on i'll call a friend...but...i do feel like i'm "thinking" about a lot of things all the time...always analyzing and sorting things out. it's just that i'm multi tasking...i'm doing it...while doing this..or that.
