Shakespeare was an NT; it says so in Keirsey's book.

Oh don't fret, I am wearing my cast iron panties today.

I believe my brother is an ENTP.
I believe you are an ENTP.

Time and again I've noticed when "pinging" you that the terrain data you feedback is very similar. Of course, each of you are unique with your own landmarks, but the ecosystems on your "planets" follow the same patterns. Big . (I liken discovering people to discovering planets!)

As for the "too huggy for an ENTP" nonsense, when my brother is in a good mood, or he has especially missed me --I get crazy, rib-crushing bear hugs and face smooches. Or if he's down and out, he'll do the head-on-my-shoulder for a moment or two when he's sitting beside me and a quick hand squeeze. Kid's definitely a T, but a T with heart.

This similarity is making me think ENTP's are the most overtly squishy of the NT bunch.

    Further data to support/rebuke?

ENTPs aren't afraid to bluntly tell you that you've asked a stupid question; ENFPs make every effort to be personally accomodating until given a good reason not to. ENFPs simply act more politely toward others by default--they generally have to be convinced that you've intentionally done something mean before they'll turn their Ne toward something other than positive/reassuring responses.

Granted, ENTPs usually aren't overtly rude until given a good reason to be, but our default mode of writing and expression is more blunt, straightforward and less focused on preserving the feelings of others. ENFPs don't generally consider stupidity on its own to be an offense worthy of aggressive admonition--but we do. They won't turn on you until they think you've willfully disrespected someone's feelings or their feeling-based value systems. ENTPs don't need this criterion; just showing stupidity is enough for us to at least point out pretty bluntly that you're wrong. T, I say.
FWIW, you are an ENTP, fo sho. And your and Synarch's style of posting are vastly different.

You are *thorough* in your reasoning, whereas an ENFP, though capable of being thorough in their reasoning might not care enough to lay out all the steps, we are more likely to state our conclusions and, if pressed, state our premises/reasoning.

And, um, we ENFPs are blunt ass mofos, who are you kidding?!?!

It depends on what is defined as a 'worthy' topic.
Most things I see as 'mere amusement' and I'll really argue with people when 1) I feel like sharing
    2) I see the individual as a potential challenge.

My elaborated posts don't have much to do with my usual 'hey let's play' posts.
