    Woah! That's some crazy-assed shit!

PS I also hate when family members send people cards although, I also never got one of those either. Goddamit!

I helped a woman last nite with her V-day predicament. She's been dating someone for *a week* but she's really into her and was wondering what to do for V-day. The woman she is dating is younger and just young in general -- like 23? So I suggested just getting one of those cute cards ^^ that is mass-produced like Hirsch mentioned.

That's something cute and acknowledging but not too serious.

I think V-day can be fun! Especially when it's spent with friends in Miami!

Ummmmmm, I think for people I am (still) dating at that time, I will um...not be in the same state or metro area so that will take a lot of heat off. I'll probably send them a seasonally appopriate e-mail or text or something...

Yeah, that sounds lame. I can make it hot! LOL.

Does it make you feel lonely?
Yes, but then I realise it's stupid to feel lonely on Valentines.

    Is it just another day?
Yes just like every other holiday with the exception of my birthday.

Once when I was single for Valentine's Day, I had a candlelight dinner for myself. Um, the Chinese food and the company were great (I love me.), but I still felt lonely.

Taking the girl to a birthday party... probably taking the kids swimming in the afternoon which we are trying to do as many Saturdays as possible over the winter... staying the hell out of restaurants, maybe taking some Chinese food home for all of us to enjoy at dinner. Then when the kids go to bed, there will be nookie. So it won't be very different from most Saturdays.

I don't really like Valentines day. I guess it makes me feel slightly lonely? I just don't really enjoy remembering all my past lovers or those who I have loved. I usually end up having dreams about them the week prior and waking up feeling crappy. That and I don't care for the commercial aspects of it, but I'm sure you've heard that a trillion times before. Although I don't mind receiving chocolate from friends...
