That is the quintessential archetype. That would be my description too, if I identified with it...

I like the proverbial Bible verses about ideal female character. They're harsh but good.

    Proverbs 25:24 (NIV)
Better to live on a corner of the roof than share a house with a quarrelsome wife.
(this one's kind of tough for me, but I'm learning to not start a fight when, say, someone offhandedly blames me for something that wasn't my fault, but is unimportant in the long run)

    Proverbs 11:22 (NIV)
Like a gold ring in a pig's snout is a beautiful woman who shows no discretion.
(I have my bouts of poor judgment, but they're getting fewer and farther between)
    I don't wanna!

Oh my.....I will never look at a woman the same again :P

    You're not a "T" are you?

    What makes a woman? ---

Her tenderness, her overt femininity, he sense of the 'other person', her softness, her natural draw to children, old people, ....kindness. The way she smells..... the way her smile makes you feel all goofy inside. Her LACK of manliness.........

    ....incredibly attractive.

Sorry, I'm not trying to bust your nuts. I'm just challenging this notion of "what makes a woman". You are free to it, because it's biologically ingrained into you. But... I must question it. I want to be free to be more than a hormone apparatus - or this traditional definition of womanhood.

why must you? it's what it means to you...not what everyone can agree on.

That's why I said that he was free to it.

I'm not sure why I did it. I just did. And I'm pretty sure I always will. No offense to him. It could have been anyone. Even my own mother.

Perhaps because I want to encourage critical thinking? Or perhaps because I have a natural disdain for anything traditional... I simply must.
