In Japan...hhmmm...I'd say it means they want to have kinky sex with you. Japanese girls are generally more insecure so if they use a term with connotations of insecurity that's a hint that if they were ever to consider having a relationship with you they'd be in charge.

    i.e. Dunno.
okay wow...you have no idea what you're talking about.

The japan part sounds a bit fishy to me(yes i've spent like 2 months there)
meh no way. Girls. Don't you realise the nicest people you know are all your guy friends.
He could always end up being the provider boyfriend, which to me is the most pathetic status a guy can have.

The super nice guys always asking you if ur alright, bringing you presents from his holidays and sending you twice as many texts as you answer back.

Why do you think he's doing that? Odds are good he's somewhat interested in you.

Yet he'll just be your friend. Don't tell i'm talking shit. I know it's true

That doesn't sound like a super nice guy. Sounds like a clingy freak.

I've seen them before. The guy friends who are super nice and just glad to be part of the girls' life. While I wouldn't call them "clingy freaks" they obviously love to be the "shoulder to cry on" and take a very active interest and participation in the girls' relationships. Eck is right, they're the most pathetic breed there is.

i know what you're saying eck but that doesn't have anything to do with what i was originally referencing. i was saying it's bs that a woman doesn't call a guy she's genuinly interested cute...because she does and she will...saying that does not mean you'll always just be a friend...but that part of the discussion was resolved already so i said never mind.

i have had guy friends be interested like you're talking about but it's been awhile i think....and it had nothing to do with me calling them cute.

what are we even talking about...i think i forgot or no longer care...i can't tell which.

    Okay let me clarify this.

There's a reason why I wrote "i.e. Dunno" in my first post and that is because it was supposed to be a kinda tongue-in-cheek post. Still, I was being somewhat serious about the cute part and it seems I'm not the only person who believes in this.

I kinda agree with Eck on the "provider boyfriend" thing. Pathetic or not, it's certainly something easily seen out there and it's certainly a position I would hate to be in.

And my initial point is being bent a little. My point is most girls that are in love with a guy you would never approach him and call him "cute". From what I've seen and experienced anyway.
