I am always broke- I have no money, and don't have a job. Although..I'm only 16. I suppose this pattern won't change much though, I'm terrible at handling money.
Is it that by its indefiniteness it shadows forth the heartless voids and immensities of the universe, and thus stabs us from behind with the thought of annihilation, when beholding the white depths of the milky way?

lol. I love all of the data!!

I think I can play this game. I could spend the time and do a true, exact average, over the past 12 months of all of my 'categories', but that would take too long.

So I'll give ya examples from a couple of months - one with minimal spending, another with higher spending, based on while I was still employed, and not months when I was on vacation and traveling (Savings for the most part is for traveling)

    Jan 08
    Rent - 26.7%
    Bills - 2.2%
    Auto/rental insurance - 3.6%
Misc living expenses (toilet paper, soap, etc) - 1.2%
    Groceries - 11.6%
    Doctor/meds - 0%
Misc (books, music, etc) - 0
    Gas for car - 3%
Entertainment (eating out, movies, drinks, etc) - 4.9%
Other (random one-time things - in this months' case, oil change and car maintenance) - 7.1%
    Savings - 39.7%

    Sept 08
    Rent - 23.4%
    Bills - 0.8%
    Auto/rental - 0.8%
    Misc Living - 5.8%
    Groceries - 8.2%
    Gas - 5.7%
    Doctor/meds - 1.9%
    Misc - 1.6%
    Entertainment - 7.5%
    Clothes/shoes - 2.8%
Other (this month, getting new tires for my car, grr) - 17%
    Travel/weekend trip - 7%
    Savings - 17.5%

    Thanks for participating cascademn.

So far I am seeing some patterns (e.g. the housing related stuff seems to be close 30% even though they may be categorized differently).
