I'm not sure how anyone could accurately judge such a thing.

My stance on that is I have no freaken idea, subjective or otherwise. There are people who freely interact with me and those who don't and I have no way of knowing their motivation of doing so unless they tell me.

    I agree.
I think only other people could judge some other persons well-llikedness.
And does it matter anyway as long as one's main goal in life is to be the most well-liked person in the planet.

I think people are connecting the replies to their threads / posts with their the amount of popularity. So, the more you get replies to your threads, blogs, posts the more popular (or well liked) you are. That might be bull because people don't always reply to other people's threads/blogs/posts even if they see the person well liked, popular or whatever.

    Fair enough.

Edit: though I suspect that people tend to assume (on some level) that they aren't liked (not disliked) unless given reason to think otherwise -- no matter what an objective appraisal of the situation might suggest.

Probably true in a lot of cases, wouldn't that just come down to normal, every-day insecurities and wanting validation?

Partly. But the nature of a forum is that it's easy to assume you aren't noticed or are being ignored (through not being directly engaged), which are usually clear signs of indifference irl. And you tend not to assume that of other posters, since you are clearly noticing and (often) not ignoring them.

You are definitely ignoring me. I will never get to level 3.
