I would notice, but then again maybe not would any really know if most of us die. The most common explanation of someone leaving if no one knows is "Oh so and so must have gotten a life"

I think any suggestion of true popularity here is a erroneous, there are people who are heard more than others but that comes down to interaction style and isn't static, everyone has different relationships with/impressions of everyone else, who I consider Ďpopularí others may not. The whole concept is off imo. I didnít vote when it was private and wouldnít have, obviously as a public poll Iím not serious either but thatís because I think the concept is silly.

I would counter that any impression of any suggestion of true popularity here is erroneous. The purpose of this thread was not, as I've mentioned previously, to ascertain actual popularity. The thread is entitled "How popular do you think you are at TC" not "How popular are you at TC". I was polling for subjective impressions.

I did and was most serious about me being mostly universally unknown.
    I'm being very subjective here.

Nobody will bother to answer my post anyway, so why do I bother

I mean I've tried and tried and tried to be popular for 2,159 post but nothing. I mean absolutely NOTHING. Boy, I'm really crushed by this information.

    hehe

No, Alcea. I watch for you Ms. Hollyhock! That's one vote of notice of you.

You're reason why I put 1 there. Mostly universally unknown.

Little disappointed, but confident I know how the poll would've turned out. Now I'm starting to wonder if I should've used the term "well-liked" instead of "popular", since "popular" is a term which carries so much negative baggage.
