One of my entp friends collects weird board games.
Setlers was one of them. As are ciradel and robo rally
We didn't even scratch the surface of his game collection.

I'm currently liking Ticket to Ride, and Carcassonne. I wouldn't minding getting Settlers of Catan as well because I've heard such great things about it. I'm a big fan of board games because they have that social element combined with strategy, and analysis. It's just a pity my ISTJ sister is so good at them!
Good Dog Nigel
Arf, arf, he goes, a merry sight,
Our little hairy friend,
Arf, arf, upon the lampost bright
Arfing round the bend.
Nice dog! Goo boy,
Waggie tail and beg,
Clever Nigel, jump for joy
Because we're putting you to sleep at three of the clock, Nigel. -John Lennon
I've played Settlers of Catan a few times, although the people we used to play with only had the German version, called Siedler IIRC. Slightly more confusing than playing the English version, I suspect.
As a child, I used to play Squatter. It's a tiny bit like Monopoly except that it's sheep farms, not houses and hotels.
