Most disturbing Martoonatar ever.
We're watching Iron Giant right now, and around sunset we plan to walk down to the Bogue Inlet Pier and watch some kind of cool planetary thing that is supposed to happen tonight. It's not terribly cold--my daughter actually got into the ocean up to about thigh-level earlier today. Maybe it got up to 70 today, I'm not sure. We'll definitely need jackets and shoes tonight though. Then there will probably be some hot tubbing, on a lowish temp so the kids can come in too. After that, the aforementioned nerding out and watching the ball drop. (That sounds dirty, or medical, but it's neither.)
I think this may go down in history as my favoritest New Years ever.
