I can't decide if your idea reminds me more of Big Rock Candy Mountain or Hansel and Gretel.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

All of the youtube versions I saw seemed either disturbing or like boring slide shows, and I decided disturbing was the lesser of the two evils.

    I phone my parents.

    I go to the bank.

    I call my boss.

    I order a pizza.

I hadn't decided in what order I'd do things, I have an idea (gifts to the family, the condo / villa in Akumal, quit work of course, the house paid off, but I wouldn't move, we just built our dream home, money to CEA) but after PT got involved, #1 will be a trip to see the financial planner.

Yay! Books and candy! What could be better?

You are going to be the Willy Wonka of the library system.

“Pleasure to me is wonder—the unexplored, the unexpected, the thing that is hidden and the changeless thing that lurks behind superficial mutability. To trace the remote in the immediate; the eternal in the ephemeral; the past in the present; the infinite in the finite; these are to me the springs of delight and beauty.” ~ H.P. Lovecraft

It's the same thing the lottery people will tell you... absolutely do that. They will give you names and/or have someone present to help you.
