I watch it too, it is entertaining. You know what else is entertaining? Watching foreign couples argue outside of laundry mats.

    It's cheaper too.

Actually it's not cheaper, now that I think about it, cause I end up burning through a buck everytime I'm there.

There's a comic called "Secret Identity" by Kurt Busiek which is a more in-depth look about the personality of at least someone who would have the same powers as Superman. It's about this kid from our world, not the world of comics (even though it's...in a comic?) who's parents had the last name Kent and thought it would be funny in a quirky way to name their son Clark. He lives in Kansas also. One night he awakens to discover that through some weird twist of fate he has powers identical to the superman of comic book fame.

Someone with a good insight should grab that title and read it, and try and figure out what Supes' type would be like from it, considering that it's a really good simulation of what someone with those powers on earth would actually be like.

What's wrong with Heroes? [So many seem to fail at grasping that it's a show meant to be set up like a comic book, and thus fail in seeing why it's not "realistic"...comic books are not "realistic" therefore, anything goes].

Anyhow, to the OP, I'm with you, BerberElla- I disagree. I grew up watching the old Superman movies, and then even that 'Lois and Clark: Adventures of Superman' show-- in which Clark Kent is depicted as being, basically, a 'nobody'. I mean, to us it'd be obvious that Clark and Superman are one in the same, however, we're the viewers and are supposed to know that.

People who are non-descript are not easily remembered. It's simple to not even glance their way, and if we did, we wouldn't have a clue who that person was later on because they didn't stand out. Clark Kent is a wallflower, in other words, and it lessens his chance of being thought of as Superman. The personalities are so different that nobody would even begin to believe that bumbling, clumsy, shy, awkward Clark Kent could possibly be heroic, brave, handsome Superman.
Don't hate me because you're beautiful.

    .
You seem to be confusing lack of realism with lack of consistency...
