    Diamond earrings
    Cookbooks
    Incredible box of Philosophy products
    New synthetic mink blanket

And the best gift...my husband built me a table for the kitchen. Very heavy, utilitarian and so beautiful. I am overwhelmed.

So "Philosophy" is a brand name?
You can't spell "justice" without ISTJ.

Yes. I'm rather picky about what I use on my face.

CeeCee, how did you get such wonderful gifts? Did you present a list? Hint? Choose them ahead of time?

They all sound fantastic, esp. the table, a lovely gift of self.

The mink blanket sounds nice too.

    Two Firefly graphic novels
Two novels from Eric Flint's Ring of Fire series
A demon hunting soccer mom novel
    Dr Horrible DVD
    WoW tee shirt

Also my family seemed to enjoy most of the gifts I bought them, so that was a nice feeling.
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged. One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world. The other, of course, involves orcs.”

Dad sent a check for $500 dollars, though for the last six years I've been imploring him to get me nothing more than a travel mug. What an ungrateful whippersnapper I am.

Our creative director made me a beautiful bracelet!
And my friend made me a secret box--out of a book!

Best Christmas I've had in years.

    Then get O.
And so at last get OUT.

About two hundred dollars in cash and one gift card. And a 12 pack that me and my mom shared at the family dinner, talk about family bonding.

I collect cookbooks so they all know that's an idea. The blanket is to replace the one I have had for about 10 years and the new one matches the bedding I got last month. They're so soft and heavy..I never want another kind if blanket. I did not ask for the earrings. He kind of pulled A Christmas Story with that. Oh..there is something over there in that far corner..maybe Santa brought..go check it out it sort of thing.

The table well...I had no idea. Our house has a good sized kitchen and we have been looking since the summer for a table. Something sturdy and well made that will last forever. After looking at stores, estate sales, you name it he finally said...I'll just build you one. He does fantastic woodwork (he did all the kitchen cabinets, bathroom cabinets, even the wall unit in the family room) but he's been so busy with work I didn't think much about a table. I went to the kitchen to start the coffee Christmas morning and there it was with a huge bow on it. That man amazes me and totally rocks my world.
