I didn't vote- not sure how I'd vote, precisely.

Showers are preferable in terms of hygiene. I won't ever take baths when I'm grimy.

Baths are more mentally/physically therapeutic. I have sensitive skin so I don't add anything but epsom salts occasionally. Lot of the oils and crap in bath sets clog my pores.

I take a glass of iced tea to the bath tub, with a book, & my inhaler (in case the steam gets to me ) & I'll stay there for a long time- sometimes til the water gets a bit cold- & I add more (shuddup hippies.. this is my time, dammit, the water's not wasted!). Put on a green mint julep clay mask for my face. Gets me out of my head. Relaxes tense muscles/mind. I also have osteoarthritis due to previous spinal fracture, torn trapezius, & torn meniscii on both knees (surgery fixed one of them but it still aches now & then), & residual pain in my heel from a bone tumor excision in 2010. So, warm water is really helpful on days I'm very sore.

Jack keeps me company, sitting on the side of the tub, hanging out.

I wouldn't use other people's bath tubs, though. Never know how often they sanitize them, or if they're the sorta people who piss &/or brush their teeth in the shower. Why... *shakes head*

Had a friend who lived a little while in some horrific boarding house for $100/month. He was convinced a resident there was shitting in the shower/heeling it down the drain.

Like all real dinosaurs, Falcarius uses a shower bath. It is much more closer to using a swamp on a rainy day than using the real thing.

Showers mostly. I would rather do the hot tub thing than take a bath.

The exception to this rule would be Japanese style super hot baths. Like at a hot spring.

I would probably prefers those to just about anything.

I only have baths after I've had a shower because I don't want to sit in my own dirt.

That's what I do; the best of both worlds! I think I'll go take one now.....

I don't know how to vote. I absolutely love baths, but I haven't taken one in many years. The bathtub/shower combos have tubs that are much too small for comfort. When I'm older and I have enough money for a decent place, I'm getting a large, jetted tub.

Edit: Wow, I'm stupid. I just realized I already answered this thread a long time ago.

    Both.

    Showers for everyday.

    Baths for relaxation.

I like baths in theory, but I actually end up dizzy and pruny and bored.
