Same here. Most gifts I do receive are seriously unsuitable in some way.

Actually, I would like a new job, but I don't think I can rely on Santa to provide that.

I second this. My INTJ presents a challenge every year to buy presents for and I tend to be good at buying presents for people.

But you are supposed to read our mind and think of things that we want that we didn't even know we wanted

For people like you, I'd take them out and 'do' something with them vs. give them something, although technically you are giving them a something, a memory, or buy them something consumable, booze works The good stuff though, not that run of the mill stuff.

Welp, I try to, but it's harder each year - especially since his birthday isn't too far from Christmas either
It's not in his nature to want for things; he buys what he wants. It's about knowing he wants something he doesn't even realise he wants.

You may be teasing me, but it honestly is like performing a mind probe - something I'm most capable of, but still requires a lot of time, energy and work

I think it's time you guys recognised the legendary psychic powers of the NF race!

What's a welp? Might want one.

I don't give presents for Christmas (well, not to my girlfriend, for my family it's different as I don't see them so often).
I choose a day randomly to make a bigger surprise this particular day, any day of the year.
