Had to daily as a kid, never really saw the point so now I rebel. If people are coming over, bedding is being washed or Im so insanely bored that I feel like tidying I may but usually Ill just straighten my doona when I get up, extra pillows n stuff are left off unless it falls into the first three categories so I consider straightening unmade (ironically I will make it if my cleaners are coming *shrug* I know that makes no sense).

To help your stats though Haight, my NFJ mother and sister quite often perform this odd ritual.

Only if it becomes uncomfortable, in which case I usually do while half asleep. I've never really understood the point.

i make my bed when my parents are coming over. i sleep on a futon in the main room of a one bedroom apartment. my little boy gets the bedroom. sometimes i make the bed if i'm on a cleaning spree. but usually it remains as i left it when i woke up that morning.
just throw it against the wall and see what sticks.

dude, people still make their beds? it's so 1950s.

My frikkin bed isn't even "makeable-able"... I've got a bed sheet and a fuzzy blanket that can't be arrange in any organized way

Bed coverings are only there to be flung about the room in moments of passion because they are in your way...

(I only make my bed when I'm cleaning the bedroom in general. Half the time it doesn't really look like I've been in it anyway, with just the corner folded back where I got up out of it.)
    Embrace the possibilities.

I would like to make my bed.
And I really really intend to make my bed.

    But...

Well, you know how it is.

What I want to know is; why do you have to lie in your bed if you were the one that made it? I think the saying would make more sense if it was; you have unmade your bed, now lay in it.
