    Yes, that's what I mean.

I just made the comment about making the bed after doing the laundry to disprove the people stating that they, "never make the bed." Which is clearly false and easily refutable as I proved above.

My use of the term "never" was purposefully hyperbolic to indicate the vehemence of my position rather than as a strictly literal descriptor.

I sleep with my blankets loose (as in, not tucked into the bed itself), so they basically just sit on top of my bed in whatever way they were when I got out of bed. I never tuck them in/make the bed. My mom used to/tried to get me to do it but quickly learned that I will never sleep in a made-bed, and qill quickly unmake any bed I intent to sleep in.

No. Most people do not. Their own beds, that is. Guest bedrooms seem to often be made. But they seem rarely un-made, so it's hardly an inconvenience.

Yeah, probably. At least as often as they clean their bedding, which is probably once every 1-2 weeks for most. So, the default state would appear to be "unmade bed".
    Seriously that often?

Not that I don't wash the sheets and stuff, but not usually everything at once, so nothing gets "made" as it were.

I don't make my bed unless you count me making the blankets spread over me while lying in bed. I see no point in it, its going to get messed up again any ways. and I don't make the bed after laundry as I never put sheets on to begin with as I have a habit in my sleep of taking the sheets off.
    In no likes experiment.

    that is all

i dunno what else to say so

Okay, then. If you mean make the bed AT ALL, ever, then I'd say most people do so in some situations. I personally wouldn't bother unless I was concerned about company seeing the bed, for instance.

From what I can tell, most people are pretty much like I am, except that they also make the bed out of habit when they first put the sheets on it... but then unmake it when they sleep in it, and leave it unmade until they change the sheets again.

So technically they DO make the bed sometimes, but they don't keep it made.

I wish I had more options than just "yes" and "no," but I have to go with "yes" on a technicality if I'm being forced to choose.

You're going to get attribution errors if you ask "do most people do..."

People are lousy at estimating how common something is to happen. Like airplanes are dangerous... driving is safer.

Why don't you rephrase the question as "Do you make your bed?" Ask that to enough people and you'll get your answer.

The only time I make the bed is when I wash the bedding and put it back on the bed.....otherwise......never do it...
