Hell no. You talk too much! *friendly poke*

No, but seriously... Jung describes the extroverted type as a person energized by external conditions. I bet there are extroverts that don't talk too much, especially if they're being their shadow type at the moment. I had a phase in my early teens where I was very INTP-like with the exception that I was indeed somehow fueled by external conditions. I had this weird depression thing going. I was still social and stuff, sometimes, and being alone certainly didn't help... Neither did socializing, though, because people ran me over because I didn't talk much, and I really didn't have anything to say most of the time, or the energy to fight back. E's can be "antisocial"...

Well this is what antisocial means:

    1. unwilling or unable to associate in a normal or friendly way with other people: He's not antisocial, just shy.
    2. antagonistic, hostile, or unfriendly toward others; menacing; threatening: an antisocial act.
    3. opposed or detrimental to social order or the principles on which society is constituted: antisocial behavior.
    4. Psychiatry. of or pertaining to a pattern of behavior in which social norms and the rights of others are persistently violated.

So yeah, you can be an antisocial E. ESTP in particular.

social person-someone who likes to be around people and talk and interact with them...

"popular" person-someone who people like to be around.

As far as extraverts go, I can be fairly antisocial. Sometimes it's more of a factor with people I already know versus new people. Like occasionally this happens when I hang out in a group of friends. I just feel 2-dimensional and then this makes me meditate on what everything means. A lot of it has to do with not feeling to connected to people I am friends with and then the subsequent ambivalence about these feelings. With new people I am overloaded with the experience and trying to make friends such that I do not have time to ruminate on the quality of the relationship. For friendship, I prefer one on one interaction.
