I don't try to surround myself with colors. That's pointless since I try to make everything dark, with just enough light to see.

The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

My room is painted storm gray with an aqua blue accent wall. I quite enjoy the darker shades in it.. but in my house that I buy eventually I will have a different theme in every room. I'm really partial to crazy bright colors.. but I just as well enjoy subtle zen-like hues.

How does 50's turquoise differ from other types of turquoise?

Hard to describe, but it's a bit greener? And it was all over the place in the 50s.I think half the Bel Airs I worked on were this color.

Turquoise (color - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

Is it on this page? Or maybe this page?

Wow, I just realized again how lazy I am. I can't even be bothered to look up pictures.

I love black and white together, especially if there's a hint of pink, like that old Paris look.

Rich reds, with a hint of purple.

The color of the trees when the sky is overcast--makes them look a more saturated green.

    Indigo--where dark blue meets purple

    Rich, smoky greyish blue

Love ice blue + chocolate brown

    Deep purple

    Reddish pinks and reddish oranges
    Something Witty
