Not too sure. He's edited it twice now. I was going to respond but seems he's changed his mind?

The only guarantee is that I'll be watching the Titans/Lions game.
"We grow up thinking that beliefs are something to be proud of, but they're really nothing but opinions one refuses to reconsider. Beliefs are easy. The stronger your beliefs are, the less open you are to growth and wisdom, because "strength of belief" is only the intensity with which you resist questioning yourself. As soon as you are proud of a belief, as soon as you think it adds something to who you are, then you've made it a part of your ego."

    Correct.

    Original question was already answered.

The second was stupid and with a bad grammar.

So, I placed period until I invent smarter question.

Folklore has it that wild turkey was what the pilgrims ate in the New World for their Thanksgiving Day feast.

After they came to America they had it pretty rough and many starved.
When they had their first successful harvest they made a feast and gave thanks.

My husband will be going to IA to eat a meal with his mother in her care center. My daughter and her companion will be going to his family's celebration. And my son and I are going to Red Lobster to pig out and then visit my mom in her care center.

On Sunday we'll all get together at my daughter's home for the traditional meal.

I live close to Worthington, MN which claims it's the turkey capitol of the world. This upsets the Texans who say they have a town there which is the turkey capitol of the world!

Edit: Actually the "illegal alien capitol of the world" would be more suitable for Worthington due to all the folks who come in to work in the processing plants. Every now and then the feds round 'em up to send 'em home so they can come back again. Then the price of turkey goes up until they can get back. Heh. Our own kids think they're too good to do that kind of work. . .

Turkeys are stoopid birds and I've heard that if they have no shelter when it rains that they can actually drown. Why? Dunno. Maybe it's the placement of their nostrils.
"No ray of sunshine is ever lost, but the green which it awakes into existence needs time to sprout, and it is not always granted to the sower to see the harvest. All work that is worth anything is done in faith." - Albert Schweitzer

I am going to eat all of my parents' food. The process has begun.
