It may not reflect my type, but it does reflect my anachronistic tendencies. (Macbook set up next to a 24" Samsung monitor. Wallpaper courtesy of Shorpy.com.)

Also, I'm digging the Rickenbacker bass, feckn_eedjit.
    Whoops.

Yeah it's definately not ENTP. ENTP is my desktop. It looks alot like that. With the entire screen's real estate filled with files and folders.

A little bit. It normally gets quite optimised in terms of access to stuff and speed, and I don't like my icons scattered or in the way of my wallpaper. On the other hand I label folders non-descriptive things like "stuff" and drop everything I can't decide what to do with into them to be sorted. Then I never get around to sorting them. In a way, the order of the desktop is an illusion hiding the chaos at the next level. The desktop also becomes quite cluttered whenever I'm doing anything involved.

I guess your desktop and the overall way you organize your files on your computer is a good reflection of your type (J vs P) at least.

My physical desk top is clutter with junk but my computer desktop is spotless.

I usually yet my desktop get about half-full before I put everything in folders.

That being said, my "miscellaneous" folder(read: place I put stuff when I'm too lazy to categorize it) is about 7% of my hardrive.

I don't think so. For one, I never have any icons at all on my desktop, and even my folders are quite nicely organized, especially my music folder.

My real physical desk is empty as well though.
