    I don't think so.

I only clear off the desktop when I feel it's getting too cluttered, I have a billion applications open at any given time, and the wallpaper is set to change every time it wakes up from sleep mode.

Mine is completely clean of unnecessary things and it's rigorously organized. Everything is where it's supposed to be and as I like it. The images I use as desktop backgrounds change as my mood changes. Very often, that is. I guess the images I use reek of INF. And no, I'm not going to elaborate further.

However, I know of an ISTJ who only cleans up the icons after there's no room left for any more and who hasn't changed the background for several years.

    So, correlation to type? Uncertain.

Probably. I have room left for one more row of icons and that's it. I'm also still using the vista pictures as wallpaper even though I've had this computer for about 6 months now.

Someone looks like an ISFJ that likes their computer to look about as old as computerly possible.

It was actually just as cluttered as some other peoples desktops in this thread.

My laptop after 2 months of use. I think my desktop is likely to stay that way for a long long time to come. It's ahhhh sparse because I now use a shortcut launcher. My old PC desktop has more stuff on it (3 rows of icons? there abouts.)
