That bored, unpleasantly buzzed feeling is what I always got when I smoked pot, but with alcohol, I tend to become happy, and so boredom doesn't really come to me. If I was depressed or anxious, that goes away. I've drunk alone far more than socially, and I generally just listen to music and talk online while doing so.

Do you test as a strong or weak N? It might have nothing to do with N/S, just wondering.

Definitely not. They all say that drinking alone is bad for you, but I think they're full of crap.

It's been a while since I took the four variable test, but iirc, everything but P came out strong.

My body now rejects alcohol after the first time i got super wasted.. if I try to drink any I feel the need to throw up. It's probably a good thing though, and I didn't like it in the first place.

    No doubt about it.

Diminishing brain function is exactly what I like about it. It's tiring to be thinking, analyzing and overanalyzing ALL THE TIME. I think it's good for my constitution to have my faculties desert me every once in a while. And I choose alcohol because I've never been all that interested in other drugs. It's not dangerous as long as you're not driving or playing William Tell, and unlike other drugs I can precisely gauge the effects based on my level of consumption.

I could never understand this appeal. Higher brain function is something I don't find tiring, if anything, it's energizing.
