Actually, I think that would be better than his posts' current situation. When 1 person writes that way while hundreds write a different way, it seems that the person is just writing that way for non-conformity's sake, with no other purpose.

Maybe I'm out of line here.

That's assuming he's capable of writing the other way, but chooses not to.

    Non-conformity is a noble purpose.

Disruption is an entirely different matter.

I guess, this is one place we disagree, Cimarron. Which is of-course, perfectly fine.

You'd be surprised. But yes, I've done enough and had enough for tonight. I'm leaving before I embarrass myself again.

I ask for your word, knowing you will provide the answer to yourself, and to us all.

I sit here and wait for your answer. But of course it is none of that now.

It is not up to us.
Very good, A.J. I didn't think you had it in you.

Sometimes I suppose that I could write like Victor if I tried.

Indeed, I suppose that I could do many things if I tried.

Perseverance is the bedrock of all substantial human achievement.

It was perseverance that built the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the perseverance of thousands of helpless slaves before the lash.

And when the Pharoah was laid to rest, his soul would enjoy a glorious afterlife.

But there was nothing for the slaves there but toil and oblivion.

And we have had four millenia to learn how perserverance makes slaves of us all.

So I know that I can never hope to write like Victor.

I am trying to convey something to you when I write.

It's plain I don't often succeed but that seems to spur me to further efforts.

What I am trying to convey is certainly not the style.

The style is simply the wrapping.

But when I give you a present, I hold my breath waiting for you to unwrap it.

But all you do is look at the wrapping, (except for my mate Jack Flack).

Look inside, I whisper. Sometimes I shout and sometimes I stamp my feet in frustration.

Because inside the wrapping is me.

I let go of logic. I let go of my plans. I even let go of, 'what happens next'.

I just let it happen without artifice.

But you think I am artificial. You think I am weird. You even think I am a troll.

No wonder I get angry at you at times. But as I read your posts, you expose your human side - and I can't stay angry for long.

But how I long for you to come inside here with me.

    Here I am, no other.

Yes, I don't want you to write like me. I want you to write as me.

    Simply be Victor.

Look, I'm Victor all the time - I can give you a few pointers.

And afterwards you can return to your own self - relaxed and refreshed.
