    hahaha

On a more serious note, I have found avenues for intelligent discussion on the web that are far more scarce in the real world. But in the same way that internet porn lacks depth, internet forums and chatting programs lack the physical interaction that I want. It's a package deal with me. Physically hanging with the buds while discussing something interesting or chatting with my favorite lady after getting physical. It's just not nearly the same on the internet. We aren't digital beings.

I certainly wouldn't want only text contact. It's easier, but not rewarding in the same way. I was actually referring to converting an online relationship into a real one. Digital to analog, if you will.

You're so punny and metaphorical. It's no wonder why a girl would fall for you.
My cold, snide, intellectual life is just a veneer, behind which lies the plywood of loneliness.

    Dear extraverted colleagues

Why are your voices all so loud that when you're talking to each other near my cubicle I can't hear the person I'm talking to on the phone? I understand your need to talk but really, does it have to be so frigging loud. :steam:

Well, that's the obvious conclusion. Hence my desire to use a remote control on them.

Oh hell yeah. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to say while on the phone 'I'm sorry, I can't hear you. There's a lot of background noise. Could you please speak up a bit?'

    :steam:

I've occasionally asked them to talk quieter but it's really hard to do that halfway through complicated discussions.
