I've actually never heard that about INTP's, you guys don't do flirting?

How are you treated like "scum"?

    Seriously.
    I'm interested in hearing this.

Also, talk more about "responsibilities" versus "rights". What are the responsibilities you're feeling burdened with? And what are the rights you're not getting?

(Contrast point here: Women say the same thing, we often feel we're responsible for the kids, responsible for our mates' emotional happiness, responsible for making everyone happy... and have no right to privacy or "self-time" because we can't even go into the bathroom for 3 minutes of quiet before kids or spouse is calling through the door. But the man often seems to think he has a "right" to private time and space, without even having to ask, and seems offended if someone asks him to sacrifice that even once. This is not an argument, just giving you some context for your comments, so if you could contrast your definitions of responsibilities/rights with these...?)

No, dear -- the joke is that we are socially clueless, so we won't notice someone flirting with us unless it's really overt.

aww, ok. Seriously though? I figured it was more of a female vs male thing. Most females I know realize it when a dude is trying to hit on them, whatever their type. Most guys though are usually clueless

    Well... there's THAT too.

Anyway, this is a good thread, it's neat to hear the guys talk, and you're very good at engaging them with good leading questions.

I'd like to get some NF guys dragged in here for contrast, since T guys probably more reflect the stereotype and I am interested to see if F guys ... who often run counter to stereotypes... agree with what is being said.

Apart from Magic's whining early on, and the testosterone bit, I relate to pretty much everything that's been said here, especially Oberon's stuff about feewings.. I don't think this is a male/female thing as much as a T/F thing.

Second that. It also means having to accept blame for how earlier generations have treated women. It means that you have to buy females a lot more than they give you.

    She tried, you goofs.
When Jack tried to climb on, the whole thing flipped over and then sank below the water line.
It was clear to Jack that if he tried to get on, they'd both freeze to death. It was buoyant enuf just for one.
So he sacrificed himself for Rose.

...However, Rose did have a fat ass.
