You could be confusing average with brilliant. I've known several brilliant people who want nothing to do with the ignorant masses. Immodesty is not a requirement though, it's an individual thing.

I tried to convince him of INFP-dom. It didn't work. Perhaps my new system listing INFP as Intuition Primary with Feeling in Support will change his mind.

What part of the post you quoted is based in emotion?

I'm inquiring. I'm putting something out, like an assertion, but I'm hoping for something to come back. Perhaps you were referring to a different line of conversation, but I would not say my small discussion on the meaning of intelligibility so far has been an attempt to spoon feed anyone. Even if it appears that way, it was at least not my aim.

But there was never any clear ground on how you'd actually know if you were doing that or not, regardless of what you'd like to, or rather be doing. It still seems that you are never sure if something is intelligible, or that you are making the correct meaning out of it.

I could see how Nocapszy could have fun with you.

The point being I don't want to have a long drawn out argument, which it is what it would be(F and you hate him), so I will not spoon feed you what I mean.

I don't buy this, I am not going to "spoon feed" attitude of communicating.

In communication as the communicator it is your responsibility to be clear and concise, and to hence lay down your points in the *simplest* way possible as a means to effectively transmit your point across to the receiver.

I do the absolute best that I can do to explain myself, and I often feel frustrated when I cannot get my point across.

I think the world would benefit greatly if all of us took more responsibility in becoming more clear and effective communicators.

The goal in communicating should *always* be mutual understanding.

The better question is: is the content of his posts interesting?

For Bluewing, the content is interesting if it is intelligible and logical in a way that is appetizing for Bluewing, for others the content is interesting for other reasons. To me, his posts present a larger than preferred ratio of noise to signal (so I tend to skip over them) yet often result in an enjoyable response due to his success at inciting others.

    Hey CC, guess what.
I don't care about the responsibilities of a communicatee.
Know why? 'Cause I'm not one.
I am philosoher on high. Make me a request and you shall be dealt with in a similar manner to the way The Good Lord deals with his believers.
Your prayer will be answered with a yes (I will answer, and explain), a no ((I won't answer or elucidate) or maybe (I'll answer later, but I'm too busy right now pulling on myself.)

I don't care that YOU don't buy it. Not everything is about you.
